This isn't remaster, its HD port.

That´s called remaster.

True, I mix remaster and remake. :)

Hope they make a Zelda Collection for NX with all of these remasters included

Well, the HD version doesn't look great, but it's good enough.
I had to try the Wii version to check if it really looks that bad and yes, it does.

EDIT: the souce of the screenshots is that gonintendo album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/25792657@N00/albums/72157660359695418/page5

They're are blown up from 1024x576 JPEGs and don't represent the uncompressed quality.

Here are the remaining screenshots:

This was always the difficulty with a TP HD remaster - the bar was so low to begin with on graphics that it was always going to be tough to get it to modern standards. Wind Waker HD looks so much better because the original Wind Waker looks so much better. For TP they'd probably have to build it from the ground up (which for a full priced game, they could have done, but that would've defeated the point of making this game - to act as a quick stop-gap before Zelda U)

what about zelda U , will they lunch 2 zelda game in one year ?

Surprise! It looks a lot better than people are saying and actually it looks better than Dolphin *ducks*. Can't wait to play this, people are being crazy in their reactions. It looks significantly better than how the original game looked, which is the whole point of doing a remaster. Jeez

Sounds like a good idea for the 30th anniversary

You can clearly see that meshes weren't touched. All has the same low polygon count as it had nine years ago.
Some FX just look cheap compared to PS360 games. There's the high res textures though.

That's Dolphin:

There's even versions with improved shader effects.

That emulation is running on a much powerfull hardware than a WiiU though, and the standar emulation without all the super HD textures added and improved shadder effects doesn´t look better than the remaster.

That emulator is emulating. Which is eating up a lot of power. Nintendo or better Tantalus ported the whole game to the Wii U. That should have alowed improvements like in OoT3D, MM3D or WW HD, though WW HD probably was the least improved, partially because of the look that game has.

It's still a very ugly game, but hey, I'll at least admit that its a clear ugly game now. Disappointing.

People saying there is little to no improvement probably haven't played the original version in a while, and are thinking back to how they remember it looking rather than how it actually looks. The years and the propagation of large HDTVs have not been kind to Twilight Princess.

Yes, they could have pushed it further graphically, (a new lighting model would have been nice) but the two biggest visual drawbacks of the original (blurry textures and poor image quality) have been at least partially alleviated.
