Answer is obvious: Of course it will! Where else would I use the Cloud amiibo?

Snake was in Brawl, but that didn't mean any Metal Gear games came to Wii.

Snake came into brawl after SK (then Nintendo 2nd party) partnered with Konami on Twin Snakes.


To add to that Sonic the other character was followed by a load of Sonic games on Nintendo platforms, only character who really is the odd one out is Ryu as SFV is a partnership between Sony and Capcom.

That's nice.  But the question is about the future, and a character in Smash is no guarantee they'll be on Nintendo platforms in the future.

I wonder, since nintendo is dumb enough to add a PlayStation game character, because let's face it, ff7 doesn't make people think of how great the game was on nintendo, are they going to go ahead and also advertise for the ff7 remake on ps4? Because cloud in smash is to me, dumb. Why not have Nathan Drake in smash too, because he's as much nintendo as cloud is.

well, there are rumors that Final Fantasy VII remake may appear in NX. I mean, the game is "first on Ps4", but  NX, PC and X1 alson have a chance, especially if all of than share the x82 format.

I honestly doubt that. After the fallout with EA and Ubisoft I don't expect SE to support the NX

No guarantee, but a good indicator. That was my answer. You were supposed to understand that the partnership on TwinSnakes coinciding with Snake in Brawl was not a pure coincidence and this kind of thing (a game coming alongside a character in smash) could happen again.

Seeing Cloud in Smash, it's not so farfetched to think that the NX may receive the FFVII remake.


It definitely makes it a more likely possibility, but until more is known about the NX, it's hard to really say how likely it is.
