I honestly doubt if they even remade the assets for this game. I think these are the assets made for the original GCN/Wii game, but before they were reduced in quality for these consoles, just like the assets in DS games are actually of a much higher quality and resolution. This is such a shameless cashgrab, that they should feel ashamed to even release this in retail. This should be a $9.99 eshop game.

Such wonderful game art, my favourite Zelda ever and they gave it such harsh treatment Nintendo, you just can't give me half a reason to buy your consoles this gen!!

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

It didn't look great when I first saw it. I looked at a comparison video and that took off my nostalgia glasses. It looks good. Not great. Its just a good looking port.

It wasn't what people were blindly hyping it up to be. The fact that it leaked the way it did was somewhat telling. It could definitely look better. As a port it is by no means bad, however Tantalus, the ones that developed this, should have not taken so long with this port in the first place. In my opinion, that's where the main problem lies

I didn't really expect them to do anything except up the resolution, so I'm happy.

I am Iron Man

Lol I was sitting there just waiting for them to switch to the HD version and then I was loke wait that is the HD version O_O Very disappointed. Will stick with the much better looking Dolphin version of the game.

It doesn't look like a massive difference like what happened with WW. I think I'll stick with the Dolphin version in the end.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

OK Nintendo, OK. The game looks alright, I'd like to see a side by side comparison. Plus the video isn't in HD but I don't think it matters much.

Interesting comparison between media pictures of Temple of Time vs Dolphin emulation founded by Gaf:

Guess which is which (or click the Linkle above).

I agree. Nevertheless, It definitely looks better than the original. Watching the comparison video shows the improvements but also just how TERRIBLE TP has always looked. It really shows some perspective. WW and its HD version look so much nicer due to the art style used, which is why the HD version looks so incredible.

Hi

Wind Waker HD was made by the main Zelda dev team, meanwhile TPHD is being made by Tantalus, so I think you can understand the situation better now

Currently most hyped for: FFXV and Zelda U
