Forums - Microsoft - AngryJoe reviews Halo 5

It's looking like this Halo didn't have a launch like previous Halo, so far based on UK numbers, I would expect it to have great legs cause it is "Halo". But reviews score and other things might not give this game great legs as we though it would. I remember reading on the amazon October thread by a user in GAF (who is "something" verified, ) that people were standing in the line for the launch and when they learn "no split-screen" they just went home. Word of mouth might do more damage to this game, but Halo fans will surely still buy Halo.

Are we supposed to pretend that AG's reviews aren't emotionally charged, I'm not saying that's a bad thing but we already knew he was going to make some silly skits and exaggerate certain things like the REQ system and no splitscreen. I agree with his points of criticisms but he gives games lower scores to "make a point" against Developers. I'm not surprised by the final score in the least.

Oh for God's sake. Why are so many OP's on this website devoid of their own opinions?

If i want to comment Joe's video, i can go do it on his channel.

Is there something specific you want to talk about?

So first they buy Pewdiepie and now Joe?Looks like Sony marketing had some leftover cash flying around.

You mean to say ''AngryJoe acts like a little bitch for 30 minutes to get views''....

People like that shouldn't get to review games like Halo. He plays like shit. Painful to watch.

Everyone who invests money into a game should be able to review it ,regardless of the different views we all have.

4 hours 30 mins.... campagne on normal mode.

Almost a hour of that is Cutscenes.

Thats painfully short. The Order gets ripped apart for this same fact but Halo gets away with it. I bought every Halo game up until the one in south Africa so I can safely say every one of them post Combat evolved gets progressivly worse, this seems to follow that trend. I suspect paid reviewsor some ridiculous embargo rules designed to get a higher score from the reviewer.

The simple fact that you're addressing it shows that Halo isn't getting away with it. Main thing is that Halo offers much more than The Order does. I beat the game on legendary with 3 friends in about 10 hours. The other 24 hours I have spent in the game has been multiplayer. With free DLC on the way. Much better $60 than 1886.

Oh boy another youtuber trying to get hits by saying something negative.

Could the campaign be better, yes. But is the campaign good. Yes. Multiplayer, solid. Is halo 5 fun to play. It's a blast.

Will it sell 10 million yes.

Will it sell xbox ones in the millions. yes.

Totally agree.  The the big difference between Halo and The Order is that the Order only had a singleplayer.  Once you finished it you really had no reason to ever come back to that game.  Halo has single, co-op and multiplayer and a map creator.  The Wealth of options you have in a Halo game is huge.  Also even if you were just a singleplayer person you can play solo and co-op playing the different difficulty and even adding the skull for added varity.  So grading The Order against Halo, get that junk out of here since tyey are definitely in the same category.

What is so horrible about this REQ System? Nobody is forcing you to buy these gold packs. Compare that to map packs that ultimately just locks out a large portion of the gaming community from playing with each other.

I would honestly rather buy a game that has free DLC and this REQ System than a game without a REQ system and paid DLC.

The same boss for 6 times
AI is dumb
Short campaign
False advertisment of the campaign
You almost dont play with master chief
Story is bad
Random system to unlock shit in the game just to make you spend money on microtransactions.

As much as the multiplayer is good i fail to see how the game got the scores it got.

I don't know.  Must have done a lot of other things right or better than average.
