Melee
I know it's a typical choice but I love it XD the sound track is amazing, it has my favorite stages, has Adventure Mode, feels faster, and the menus are awesome <3 I also like SSB64 and Brawl but they felt a bit plain. I really dont care for SSBU/3DS. It lacks an Adventure Mode/SSE which I loved and idk it comes off a generic to me. Something about it rubs me the wrong way.

Wii U, its the only one i've played :P

Brawl introduced Smash into a whole different world of Smash. It was an experience. Yeah, it was slower than Melee but I think Subspace makes up for it. It's not that the story was super excellent or the stages were that awesome. It was the fact that you see all these characters interact with each other for the first time in CG. It was mind blowing and it was something that hadn't been done before in a fighting game. This was the beginning of overstuffing Smash.
Wii U>Melee>Brawl>3DS>N64

Of the ones I've played, Wii U. Smash 64 was my first game ever, and I always preferred it over the short amount of time I had with Brawl before I stopped playing Brawl altogether. 3DS was pretty good too, but no reason to go back to it after you play the Wii U version.
Sadly, never played Melee.
bet: lost
