I've played more multiplayer yesterday and today and I like it more and more. It feels like Halo but now it's fun to play. Very polished and balanced, gameplay is close to perfection. I can see many long time fans whining about it on forums, it's the same with every franchise when something changes.

Only issue for me so far is that stronghold doesn't have its own playlist. And I dislike slayer so it's annoying it's on rotation in team arena + own playlist.

For single player campaign, it's not Borderlands2Bioshock Infinite kind a masterpiece, but fun and polished gameplay combined with awesome cutscenes and music make it a superb game. I think score of 85 -87 is reasonable. For Halo fans it could be higher.

I don't think 85 is a very good score for a long running exclusive flagship title to have. A lot of reviewers will go easy on the game, just because it is a big name franchise. A flagship exclusive is supposed to be pulling out all the stops, and making the very best game you can possibly make. Your biggest best effort doesn't break 90?

If Halo was a brand new franchise from a medium sized developer, then 85 would be an amazing score. If I had an XB1 I would get this game for sure, but I'm not buying a system for it.

I think a 86 is a great score. Many ppl are buying the console for the game. Who cares if it doesn't get a 90 anything? I mean obviously you are idk concerned it didn't. I mean if it got a 89 would you still be saying that crap? There are no negative reviews for it and the game is very fun.
