That's a terrible score for the game that was suppose to save Xbox One. No doubt Uncharted 4 will score higher than 85.

Such comments are really unnecessary. What does Uncharted 4 have to do with Halo 5? No doubt Halo 5 will sell more than Uncharted 4. Apparently 85% on metacritic is terrible now, this is why I don't take metacritic serious anymore or people who use it to talk negatively about a game they're never going to play. I've played some Halo 5 today and I can say it's one of the better games I've played this generation so far. I love that ground pound, it's so smooth. And the game is jampacked with details and impressive scenes. One of the best looking console games that maintains a smooth 60 fps.

Like I said, Halo 5 has a good score, but it's a bit low for a mainline Halo game. It's also a little odd that the Xbox One doesn't have a 90+ exclusive yet, but it will come.

I also agree that the world would implode if Uncharted 4 got this score.

Not odd when you consider PS4 has 1 and Wii U has 2 or 3 depending on what you classify Smash Bros as. Idk if its the same game on 3DS?

There just aren't very many truly amazing exclusive games this gen as of yet. It's been dominated by third parties.

Yeah...that's actually true. I do have a feeling we'll see less 90+ exclusives during this gen as a whole.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Great score for halo5.

Xbox owners enjoy!^^

2 hours and 30 minutes into Legendary with 4 player co-op and we just finished the 2nd mission. Those reviewers are obviously playing on Easy.

Of course they are. They want games that hold your hands and guide you on a cinemaitc experience instead of a game.

That´s hyperbole at best and a straight out lie at worst...

GTA V - 96 (PC)
MGS V - 95 (91,93,95)
The Witcher 3 - 94 (91,92,94)
Undertale - 94
Bloodborne - 92

I dare say none of these are cinematic experiences that hold your hand.

Only bloodborne is hard. MGS5 was piss easy. S ranked all the missions and everything.

I expect the majority of reviewers play on normal, which is perfectly reasonable. If it's balanced properly that's the difficulty setting that should give you the most organic idea of how much content a game has.

Well, having played the first 2 missions and some Warzone I must say I'm extremely impressed. The load times are really short, the action is insane in legendary and the MP is marvelous. I really like that matches start fast, the longest I have waited so far for a match is about one minute..

*Sigh*
So a game is either "hard" or it "holds your hand and guides you through a cinematic experience" ?
I know that´s not what you meant because if difficulty is all that matters for your distinction between a "game" and a "cinematic experience" then Halo would not be a game. Actually most games wouldn´t be "games"...
My original point with those games (all scored high) wasn´t "look at those hard games" but to show you games that are neither cinematic experiences nor hand holders, yet scored ridiculously well. I understand you do not like the Meta score of H5 and that´s perfectly fine. However do not start with the conspiracy theories if you have nothing to even remotely back them, especially if easily accesible sources (Metacritic) paint a different picture.
