You have the right attitude towards it. But the best way to play Halo is always legendary more, and then you look forward to a15-20 hour campaign. Sadly reviewers often pick the easy solution and don't get the full experience.

You missed the point of my comment... it is about the double standard guys here that gloryfied the Halo's story to justify trashing Destiny... well story telling was never good in Destiny (just got a bit better in TTK) but that was a key point from Halo fans saying Halo 5 will be better than Destiny due the awesome story.

Now aftetr the story found to be mediocre and the guys are in defense mode again... just to say "reviewes are comparing the story to epicness Halo stories and not others game stories" is just so bad that I can't even start to arguee about.

Maybe you receive what you deserve... these that always criticied avg. story in games like Destiny received the same threatment in his beloved game.

The banter back and forth is outright pointless, "he said she said" kinda deal, they're two entirely different games, it doesnt matter which has the higher metascore, while the campaign is, in my opinion, too short, and the story doesnt really do much with itself, the other thing to keep in mind is that its intended to be that way because it's a multi-part storyline, the main point of the games release however, is multiplayer, and you will be hard pressed to find any reviews calling it bad.

I get it, you really like destiny, so people saying its story sucked and that the game lacked content is frustrating, but waiting for Halo 5's release to point fingers and say "KARMA GOTCHA" or anything to that effect is just plain silly.

Halo 5 is a better game than destiny was, as for what Destiny is now, that's debatable and dependant upon who you ask, but as I said, its taken a year and multiple DLC releases to get it there, and you're now comparing that lenghtly progression and fine tuning that Destiny has had, to a game that is only just on it's launch day, and frankly, what you need to do is just stop.

If Halo 5 has The Order's campaign length with Destiny's story quality, will people be willing to say that it deserves a score lower than either?
