Forums - Politics Discussion - 2016 USA Presidential Election

After the Benghazi hearing I went from voting Republican to voting for Hilary. She really demonstrated the calm and collective demeanor you want in a leader. Something none of the Republican candidates have. She really was in control.

Republicans have spent nearly $5 million American tax payers dollars, 11 hours of grilling, and came up with nothing.

There were a lot of biased accusations being made, that were not ethical. It was an obvious witch hunt, this showed a lack of coordination for the Republican party, obvious biase, and is a text book example that Republican's know how to throw  away our tax money.

This turned me into a Hilary believer.

There is a reason Fox News didn't air this. Even the Republican biased media that I read considerred this a win for Hilary.

Joke: Rumor has it that Bernie Sanders has reached out to Trey Gowdy to get equal time on their "Launch a President" committee.

I'd say Sanders, but I'm saying this as a European worried to what the election will bring to us.

Most Europeans/non americans love Sanders. The 'socialist' stigma is hard to get over in America though.

I personally think the worst candidate is Clinton.

Clinton isn't really the worst. Trump easily is. He's the kind of stupid that drags us into wars we don't want to wage. All I wat is a president of the USA that leaves us alone. Our own politicians are bad enough.

Uh what?  Trump didn't want to go to war in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Enough with the false narrative.

Isn't it surprising that it was Bill Clinton who wanted to go to war even before 9/11!  So since Hillary Clinton is his wife, I would argue that she is more prone to go to war than Trump.  But you know, why bother looking at the facts, am I right?

Hillary is a very good debater in the sense that she never really  answers any questions. I don't really care much about the emails, but I can't understand why someone would vote for Clinton over Sanders. Her constant flip flopping is ridiculous and makes me not trust this woman, ever.

Have you done the isidewith.com ?

No gun bans. Pretty much it for me.

I won't listen to anyone who can't talk about guns, gun laws, gun control, etc. who instantly grasps at banning material goods and inhibiting my economic freedom to buy stuff I want as the solution.

The left needs to stop using the phrase "gun control" and just call it "gun ban" because that seems to be the only solution they fixate on. Ban Ban ban ban ban everything.  You want a ban.  You've made up your mind.  What is there left to talk about?

We can't have a "common sense" talk or "compromise" on anything when all you want to do is ban something no matter what.  Lets drop the pretense about a "open discussion" because you just want a ban regardless of what anyone else has to discuss.

The left also need to understand their own words.  Compromise doesn't mean you take something from me or else.  And then do it again and again until I have nothing left to take.  Compromise means I'll deal with longer waiting periods or more background checks, but in return the 1986 machine gun ban gets abolished.

Hilary will win the election, she i the only one that can get the swing voters. I will vote Republican over Bernie, and convince everyone I know not to vote for Bernie.

The BS propaganda or consiracy theorists will not stop that from happening.

To be clear, no matter what your opinion on government involvement in healthcare is, healthcare in neither a right nor a privilege, it is a service.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

You haven't answered on why you think she's better than Bernie. I think Sanders has a way better chance to convert swing voters, like me, to vote democrat. I'm an independent voter.

Why are you so against Sanders and in favor of Clinton? Logical reasons, please.

It's okay to think like that, but you must apply that logic to schools, medicare, social security, etc

I don't need to. I vote in the Republican primaries, not the Democratic ones. All numbers show that Bernie isn't a threat, to Republicans. His winning, would be great for the party.

So you have no logical reasons why you like Clinton better than Sanders. Got it!

All head to head shows that Sanders does better against Republicans than Clinton right now.

Ann Coulter would much, much rather run against Clinton than Sanders. Trump would love to run against Clinton.

Give me Sanders or give me Trump.
