Because it doesn't have day 1 updates for games? Wouldn't all retro consoles have one reason to be king then?

No, only one reason does not count.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Overrated comes to mind!

Well Multiplayer requires an internet connection so I don't see how this is a problem ( Unless you have data caps, which in that case you should just choose another ISP ). Maybe people will actually play the single player now
!
That patch would take at least 12 hours on my connection. I really hope the download can pick up from where it was left off if the connection is dropped in the middle, for those who are in my tier.

The download will resume at the point where the connection failed. No need to download it again from the start.

More like just another reason why PS2 gen>anything that came after.

Or better yet, instead of blaming the consumer, we could all... you know.. blame the developers for shipping an incomplete game before it was finished.

Halo 5 doesn't have a day one update because it was incomplete, the full game won't fit on a single blu-ray disc.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
