Easy now.

Your argument doesn't makes sense, you're acting like the victim and then you go on rambling about appreciating Brett?

Serious question, are you drunk?

You do make one good point, Mario Maker is doing well.

Serious question, is that really a serious question?

lol is it that obvious. Wasn't sure, never seen the dude before. Seen a few users on here you would swear are drunk but that would mean that their livers would of packed in by now.

Wasn't trying to answer a question was explaining why this site is taking a turn for the worse and why I stay away from forums. You can't just say something positive about anything here without someone ridiculing it. People are allowed to pick a part a persons opinion so why post

You weren't just saying something positive though, you were making wildly speculative suggestions of a comeback of PS3 proportions, which is completely unsupported by the data. 110% increase from a low base of just 42.5K does not suggest any sort of comeback is on the cards. For a substantial comeback you'd have to see a 500% increase from a previous month of 42.5K. And even if it achieved a 500% increase it still would have come in 3rd for the month. Wii U is really selling that low that a 500% increase is still less than what the Xb one and PS4 each sold. If one was to think uncharitable thoughts one might suggest that making unrealistic speculations in respect of Wii U's future sales could be a tactic to try to elicit certain sorts of reactions from other people. Of course I would just put it down to over exuberance, but other people might not be so generous.

If you generally avoid forums and then swing in intermittently with posts that lack analytical credibility then you should expect some interesting responses.

Wii U has an enormous task ahead of it if it is to achieve an LTD of 60% of Wii, which is more or less the LTD that PS3 achieved relative to PS2. You can never say anything is impossible, but it is as improbable as is Sony phones achieving market share approaching that of iPhone and Samsung.

I didn't know I couldn't compare loosely something. Just because I said a comeback doesn't mean I meant the exact same comeback if. If I did mean that I would say that. Come back is a come back regardless how big or if they don't win. If a baseball team is down 5 in ninth and only score 4 and lose you wouldn't give credit to the team on a comeback and almost pull off a win? Or if a baseball team comes back down 7 and wins then later another team comes back down 6 and wins you wouldn't say that was a comeback because it was less runs than the last comback I watched?

That what it sounds like to me, This guy is pleased that his favorite console is doing better so let's try and discredit his statement for whatever reason

If you can't handle "negative" comments (or counter arguments) then yes you shouldn't be in the forum. Nobody was rude towards you but you find it ok to answer back in a rude manor.

Wii U comeback is unlikely. If you can't handle that or can't respond in a decent manor and have a proper discussion (something I know you can have with the people you responded to), again, maybe the forums isn't for you.

Wow the Wii U comeback talk still exists? Geez

Obviously I'm late to the party, but I'm just popping in to say to drop the current conversation, as it's not going anywhere positive.

It's perfectly okay for a user to be happy that his favorite console (struggling or not) is performing better that it was previously. It's perfectly natural for someone to root for something that they enjoy, no matter how it's performing in the big picture. That shouldn't be an issue. Though expectations should be tempered based on its current situation (I'm happy that my 3-14 team got a win, although I shouldn't be expecting them to get to the playoffs).

It's also okay for users to debate said position, as long as they use facts/evidence and engage with a spirit of good discussion. That should in turn create good discussion as both parties discuss and debate on how they understand the situation. This is a forum after all, with the goal being to foster healthy discussion among like minded individuals. So criticism and discussion shouldn't be shrugged off, instead it should be embraced and delt with in a positive manner.

TL;DR

You shouldn't be ostracized for rooting for a minority presence on these forums (in this case a console with low sales), but you should be able to defend your position with clarity and good nature. Learn from this and improve. Thanks. :)

Thank you for this, I never said it would make a PS3 I just went back to what I originally wrote and I said MIGHT make a PS3 comeback. So the fact that I was just having a hopeful instead of factual one, is hard for me understand why people need to throw shots in.

Let's just tab it as a misunderstanding and all move on. :)

Also it seems that forza sold more on x1 with bundles that mgsv did on x1

Delete. Just noticed Smeag's post.
