Hope they hurry up, I want to at least see some software

If we can't work out xb one sales from the YoY % then the creamsugar pie chart won't be of any value. I guess we'll see if that theory holds true once some independent reports come out. |
We'll see if Nintendo give us any percentages. They normally do.
Besides, I hoestly think NPD are more interested in protecting software data than hardware data. Hardware is just three data points a month, software is god knows how many (NPD obviously tracks sales further down than the top 10 we get).
ardware data.

Just means it was barely over last year's, so not worth mentioning a number. I'm guessing ~290K. |
Actually Poklane could be right.
YoY could be used to say calender year growth... or fiscal year growth. Not exactly same month 14 vs same month 15.
1. NBA 2K16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3)
2. Madden NFL 16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3)
3. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360)
4. FIFA 16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PS3)
5. Destiny: The Taken King (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3)
6. Super Mario Maker (Wii U)
7. Disney Infinity 3.0 (360, Wii U, Xbox One, PS4, PS3)
8. Mad Max (PS4, Xbox One)
9. NHL 16 (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3)
10. Minecraft (360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4)
We’ve asked the hardware manufacturers for the data bout their systems, and most declined to provide anything specific. But it’s obvious, according to the NPD, that Xbox One and PS4 are both still selling extraordinarily well.
“After 23 months on the market, combined PS4 and Xbox One sales are 40 percent higher than the combined 23 month totals for PS3 and 360,” said Callahan.
Even with the steep year-over-year decline, The NPD Group doesn’t sound like anyone should have cause for concern.
“September 2015 hardware sales dropped by 23 percent due to a difficult comparison to the strong sales in September 2014, which were supported by the launch of Activision’s Destiny,” said Callahan.
But the analyst did point out that, for once, it wasn’t just the Xbox 360 and PS3 that experienced big drops. Even the Xbox One and PS4 didn’t sell as well as last year.

Wow no forza 7 I guess
EDIT: I see they didn't track bundles...
So both are down YoY (was guaranteed for ps4)? "Xb1 and Ps4 didn't sell as well as last year"

PS4 was guaranteed to be down, Destiny bundle sold ~300k last year and MGSV and TTK obviously weren't gonna make up to that.
Not that it tells us much, but from the Venturebeat article they PS4, XBO and Wii U all saw double digit growth in average weekly sales from september to august.
Using the bare minimum (10%) this gives us:
PS4: 300k
XBO: 275k
Wii U: 60k
So those three should be above that.

As expexted. Nba2k First, madden Second and mgs only Third.
Destiny still selling better on Xbox (As will cod and probably Even battlefront)
Xbox 1 Hardware up yoy and ps4 Won but is down yoy
