"could of", "would of", "should of".
That stuff irks me to no end. For some strange reason usually seems to be Brits who are guilty of this. Why is that?

Some other pet-peeves:
"[companyX] are knocking it out of the park!"
"[companyX's product] blows [companyY's very similar product] out of the water!"
"AAA Exclusives" (as if their exclusivity is a good thing in any way)

I agree with this one! Is it really that damn hard to write " could have"?

Better yet, "could've, would've, should've"

I was guilty of this mistake early when texting someone :D Corrected myself with disgust when I spotted the error.

funny though when I see "cudda wudda shudda" or the likes, I don't find that as bad

Common sense? Common sense should tell you there's a big difference between distributing music/books digitally and video games...yet you still believe it will be fully digital.

No, common sense tells me the exact opposite, which is why it worked so well when Steam did it.

Yep and failed with PSP Go... which is traditional gaming hardware and not just a service.

I have, I've been following the development of NX since it was first announced and the only concrete thing Iwata said about NX was that it was a new dedicated gaming platform with a new concept. Of the information that has been given out, what's more important than that?

Not only is that untrue, but they've been telling us important things about the NX since early 2014.

Like? Not asking for links but it would be nice to know what exactly has been pretty much confirmed.

The word 'parity'.

One console is undeniably more powerful than the other.  Deal with it and stop demanding that games be artificially held back to make them look the same to 'achieve parity'.

The PSP Go isn't indicative of anything. It wasn't a new product, and the NX is a platform, not "traditional gaming hardware." Plus, digital only isn't why the PSP Go failed.

Especially if Nintendo could reduce the price of games by saving distribution costs and paying retailers less because the only shelf space they'd need is for a console. Would definitely attract people who don't care about having physical things cluttering their house, and they can get games at $45 instead of $65 (if not less) and have games preinstalled so they can play it midnight of the release date.

I can see that attracting people.

I think that people expecting games to launch at less than $60 as a standard will be disappointed. Nintendo has made their stance clear on that. They think it devalues games.

That's why the rewards aspect of the membership program is so important. It allows them to circumvent that while still retaining premium pricing, since the only way you will get the deals is by spending money on games. People are going to compare the program discounts and deals to Steam sales. That's how fleible it will be.

From what I understand, they think releasing digital titles at a lower price than retail versions of the same game devalues them, for example u won't see them release a game for $60 retail but with a $40 digital version. However, if they go with an all digital platform like u speculate they are, than that no longer becomes an issue since they aren't devaluing anything.

We have seen them do this already to a small degree with some games, Mario vs Donkey Kong used to be a $30 retail release back on GBA/DS but this generation it has become a $15 digital only series. Other games like Pushmo/Crashmo/Dilllon's Rolling Western/Dr. Luigi are games that they would have sold for $30 retail back in the day but are instead only $15 because they are digital only.

I think if they do go all digital than its possible that software becomes more affordable regardless of the new membership program.

No man, PSP Go failing is undeniable proof that people don't want digital only hardware, just like the MPMan failing in 1998 was proof that people  didn't want to listen to music on a digital only device.
