Forums - Gaming - Your favorite games or series that rarely get mentioned?

Kurushi and Devil Dice on PS1 are the best puzzle games I've ever played yet we never talk about puzzle games so never gets mentioned.

Also, Omega Boost. Seriously awesome game.

Hmm, pie.

Just like the title says, what are a few games or series that you really enjoy but rarely see getting any love or never even get mentioned on other threads. Dont just say your all time favorite games so no skyward sword or final fantasy x type games just cuz use they get some hate online, they have plenty of fans too. This is your chance to give some exposure to your favorite forgotten or overlooked gems. Here's my top three.

1. Final Fantasy Adventure - My favorite games ever are the handheld 2d zelda's and that's exactly what this game feels like. For those who dont know this game has almost nothing to do with FF, Its actually the first game of the Mana series and is an excellent action rpg game. Combat is fun with a wide variety of weapons and magic, the world map is pretty good sized, it has a great story with some sad moments and the music is so damn good.

That one is a remake, there's an even older version of that game back on the original monochrome game boy called Mystic Quest, which is also known as Seiken Densetsu 1 in Japan.

I could be wrong but I believe it was released under 3 titles, it was called Final Fantasy Adventure in North america, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest in Europe and Seiken Densetsu in Japan. The remake your thinking of is Sword of Mana on GBA, but that's not the game I was talking about, its not as good imo.

starhawk. best competitive multiplayer concept sony has.

Mine would be the Zombies Ate My Neighbors series. It is a game everyone remembers (at least the first one) and have heard of, but never gets talked about. I have been trying to recruit people in my "Vote for Zeke/Julie" campaign for the Smash Ballot, but somehow I think we might still come up short on the votes.

Systems I own: Switch, Wii U, Wii, N64, Retron 5 for my Ness, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy line games, Dreamcast, PS2, New 3DS.

YES YES YES. I loved this game so much!!! x ) I used to play it all the time. If I can find the CD, I need to play this again.

And Age of Empires is great too. I loved the first the most x )

Oddly enough the two things I remember are building bathrooms and that weird bloaty head disorder in which you would pop their head and reinflate it

You may be able to find a ROM on emuparadise, just saying

Advanced Variable Geo. I doubt anyone have heard about it.

Actually yes, I have heard of it. I played the PC Engine CD one on Game-oldies.

The Growlanser series. Especially Wayfarer of Time.

Snowboard Kids. Seriously the N64 had so many great Arcade Racers and a lot that were better then the overly popular Mario Kart 64 but this series was up their as one of the best. Diddy Kong Racing was probably the only other Arcade racer to challenge it.

Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist of the Roses. I dont care if its not your normal YGO, its the best YGO game ever made.
