It launches Tuesday so this is to be expected.  In order for Xbox the take the month though, its gonna have to really pick up and basically stay ahead for the rest of the month.  It has to overtake two PS4 bundles in the monthles.  Even if it overtakes both, it has to also sale double of each SKU.  Thats the tough sale.

Hes talking about the "hourly" charts.... that means its beat the TLOUR bundle for 1 hour..... in terms of sales for the month its still waaaay behinde.

No doubt that the Halo bundle will do great, and the game itself is moving hardware already as evidenced by the other bundles rising. For me, the bundle will do enough to win the month fo X1. What I am interested to see now is where the bundle is at when November starts. Will it have the staying power to combat Cod and Battlefront. And when is the Fallout bundle going to enter the top hundred.

StarWars Battlefront is the most played beta ever, by unique players, more than 9million people downloaded & played the beta.

CoD is CoD....  Halo wont do squat vs that.

With marketing rights.... PS4 takes november.

I also am not sure that Halo makes XBox One take this month.

Its 17 days into the month, and so far the Halo bundle has only won 1 hour of sales vs TLOU bundle.

Sure it ll lift the Xb1 up alot, but I dont see it alone being able to beat a PS4 that just got that price cut.

Whats scary is the 2016 lineup the PS4 has... this could be the last chance the Xbox one has to win a month of sales in the US, for along time.

It's not the Halo bundle which will decide the month though. It is all those $350 bundles that have been almost absent from the top 100 which would be the deciding factor.

Keep in mind Halo 5 bundle only just now overtook PS4 in the hourly. 17 days in. Monthly PS4 still leads. At other retailers PS4 is still consistently ahead. XB1 has alot of catching up to do.

It's weird how October went from this sure fire thing for Xbox One to an undercurrent of "uh oh". I still expect them to pull it off though. Just because.

Yeah pretty much.  To me going in looking at October, November and Decembeer, I was thinking that the xbox One could make up major ground.  Now, it looks like it will be par for the course with no real movement in pole positions.   If Microsoft wins October, it wont be by much.  November is gonna be tougher for them and a firesale is absolutely necessary.  December will probably be split with Sony looking most promising with the new Star Wars movie.   Halo 5 is their absolute best flagship title so if Sony wins October, the console wars in the US will get super stale really fast.

I think more people would have prefered a lower price without the figure.
Also, I think they're making a mistake by not releasing a standard Halo 5 bundle.

Obviously people like lower prices. I was speaking towards the Halo gamers who would pay top dollar for the console since that is who MS is intending this bundle for.

This is just not a strong enough position for the XB1 to overturn what the PS4 did in the first half of October. It really is going to come down to preorders.
