Halo 5 bundle is not even dualing with the top PS4 bundle. As I said, the Destiny bundle will be a slaughter once it is restocked. The wait will only increase demand.

You're overlooking the fact that the Halo bundle has been building up pre-orders since August 5th (#24 for that month). So what do you think happens for NPD when it actually counts on release and 2 and a half month's worth of sales happen on one day?

It was the best selling bundles for that month with the next X1 coming in at #40. NPD October had the X1 at 200k. So if its at 200k with the highest console at #40, the Halo bundle must be around 60-80k preorders? September is a no show though so what do you think, 70-90k preorders going into October? Or does that seem to high?

Not sure how you're coming up with those numbers. Is 60-80k the percentage of what Amazon sells? Because I thought when it comes to pre-orders themselves the % would be higher online than if it was out and on sale. But I'm just speculating.

Interesting that if we get Amazon charts the way some here are geting we have to assume that the XOne that perfomed way better this year has sudenly lost apeal close to its biggest game launch.

Not going to reply to each post to keep the spam down. But mine refers to the statement of Halo not even dueling with the top PS4 sku. I believe that as of right now if pre-orders were included for October sales it would at least be at 20. But yes, we still have 15 days to see how the Halo half of the month goes.

Also, the possibility of this $500 limited edition taking that top spot is a joy to see. Glad people are still buying consoles for Halo.

That appears to be a conclusion you want to come and not a conclusion that anyone else has ever come to. What it shows is an increase in PS4 interest. It's good to see more people interested in the charts again though, although we were talking about the chartz and not arguing amongst ourselves. It would be nice to keep it that way.

Pretty much, month is gonna be very tight and nobody can see the future. It is all just guess-work with our own biases run amok but IT IS fun! :)

If Xbox won, I would never begrudge them it! Spencer is doing a good job ad I would hate to see his effort go unrewarded. Likewise if PS won I think it would be impressive.

The point of analising Amazon charts is to try to guess how things are gonna be in the general USA market. Unfortunetly we have to wait until Monday for September NPD. We should be able to see how the last Destiny bundle would fare against last year bahemoth.

There is a thread here where a user claims PS4 sales exploded after last week price cut. He got to this assumption only because of Amazon charts.

If Amazon chats is the final objetive of its own treking, it´s pointless.

This is the first Hollyday season whem both consoles have a pletora of bundles (6 and 11). I think these bundle are effecting the chartz in a very confusing way. When consoles sales are realy bombing they all take the top 10 positions and even move the PSN cards out of the top 3.

how long has the starwars bundle been on sale? i wonder how many preorders it has picked up. i also wonder how many preorders the BO bundle will pick up as well.

PS4 sales exploded in Amazon, Gamestop, Bestbuy, etc after the price cut.

PSN Cards was always TOP5 because outsiders (yes you Brazilians) buy PSN cards on Amazon.
