That looks .... really ... really ... dull. It's fairly obvious they just took the Animal Crossing Plaza graphics engine and quickly slapped together a ho-hum board game from nd Cube out of it.
But I called this way before, Nintendo was going to bail on giving the Wii U a "real" Animal Crossing. It will sell way more on the NX, particularly the portable side of it.
Looks just like Mario Party, so I'm not too interested in this game, also because I would need to buy amiibos to play it :/
Really wish we could have a normal Animal Crossing game

Actually, would you be able to use those Amiibos from Amiibo Festival in Home Designer?
Eh... Well, at least it looks better than before and it is confirmed that you only need 2 cards to play since the game itself is "free".
Not excited at all though, they could have used the new awesome decoration system of Happy Home Designer, those HD assets, the photo mode of Pikmin 3 (to have a first person view when you want and take cute photos ), the gamepad functionalities (to use it as a menu) and the online features of WiiU to make a very interesting new Animal Crossing instead of this...

They'll probably use those assets for the Animal Crossing NX. The cartoony graphics of the game really don't need to be in Ultra HD, so it would save them a lot of time and money they could use to fill the game with things.

But I don´t care about AC NX tbh, and when it comes I hope it looks more like this:
Yeah the AC track just looks STUNNING!
And as for this game....... at least they added mini games but even with that i think its just a fan service game. I cant wait how it does in Japan. Like how the spin off it self sold 1mil there, and New Leaf can still be seen popping up in the top 20 weekly charts.
But i did pre order myself the K.K. Slider amiibo.
