This franchise is never going to be successful in the West. It's way too weird and niche.
Bring back things like F-Zero and Wave Race or 1080, Nintendo. At least those have some chance.

Honestly, it's a bit of a miracle that Chibi-Robo survived the gamecube. It's the one of the most niche franchises Nintendo ever got. I mean, even hardcore nintendo fans don't talk about Chibi-Robo.
He had a nice run, I hope his final game will be good.

okay guys,.. you'd better buy this game if you want 1st party support in the future.
That's stupid. This is more like a spin-off than a actual Chibi-Robo game. They might as well have just killed the series without a cheap spin-off because there's no chance in hell this game is going to be successful anywhere. If you're going to see if the series is worth keeping, make a real CR game, not this
Nintendo knew from the moment they were making this that it was going to fall on its face.... hopefully when Federation Force fails we don't get Nintendo saying, "sorry guys, you didn't buy the game. Metroid is gone."

I heard the GameCube one is good, but this one looks okay, so I won't be getting this.. hopefully the game sells well though :/

If this could be the last Chibi-Robo, then why release an Amiibo?
And if your faith in the IP is so small, why do you bother making this game in the first place?
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

1) the character is cute, the amiibo is cheap to make, and sells at a huge profit. Why? easy money.
2) this game was cheap to make (it doesnt look like it was expensive game to develope), its going to rely on the "character" being cute, to sell.
If it does well => small investment for big returns.
Why does this franchise get so many chances whereas Advance Wars and things like Wave Race don't?
This is not the Chibi-Robo I remember....
