Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Halo 5 has a ROCK SOLID performance (Digital Foundry)

Sounds fine to me. I'll gladly sacrifice image quality and resolution for frame rate stability.

Although, to be honest, I never worried about the technical side of things with Halo 5. I'm more anxious about the content and structure of the single-player campaign and how "Spartan Abilities" will affect the momentum of multiplayer battles.

I must really be in the minority here because. For me most of the time I prefer 30fps better graphics than 60fps and noticeably poorer graphics.

With that said I aint going to force my opinion as fact like some of you in this thread are doing. Also whoever said halo was never about graphics clearly didn't play halo 1+2 on the original xbox.

Halo 3 didn't look to be for its time either with everything considered with all the multiplayer split screen everything.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Gah. I dislike Dynamic Resolution. Hopefully if I set the console to 720P it will disable it.

Didn't MCC and Driveclub have rock solid performance?

Hmm? MCC not, Driveclub did though.

Considering Driveclub is 30 fps, I don't think its relelvant.

Forza 5 and 6 on the other hand are a solid 60 fps.

Glad to see the frame rate is as solid as promised.

I can live with resolution dipping to the realm of 720p. Halo is better at 60 fps. MCC is proof of that.

Be it 30 or 60, rock solid performance means the frame rate remains constant without any or very rare dips.

Driveclub has rock solid performance. Especially considering all the graphical tech going on and the visual fidelity.

Thank you.
