I didn't play Assassin's Creed: Unity until after all the patches to fix it, and I found it very enjoyable and really fun to play (Not to mention how pretty it was at times!)... I'll more than likely be doing the same with this one.

This, just finished AC3 so i'll get Syndicate in like... 18 months for 14$ used and with all the patches.

If this is the case once again, goes to show, once again, that $$$ is all Ubisoft cares for.
It's time for fans to put their foot down and teach them a lesson that this is unacceptable.
It would be for the best, and for the benefit of the Assassin's Creed franchise if this entry turns out to be the worst selling entry in the series, should these rumors and speculation be true, so that it finally teaches Ubisoft a lesson that this kind of laziness and absentmindedness towards your top franchise will not be tolerated!

If this is true that video where they tried to make us cry for the poors developers feels incredibly cynical now, even more than before.

Can't stand this series anymore. I almost didn't finish AC: Unity. Ugh...

I didn't buy AC last year. Looks like I'll be skipping it again.

I'll keep playing Ass Creeds as long as the climbing and free running feels great, has high production values and improves on the single player multiplayer mode (wolfpack).

People shit on this franchise for the yearly releases and bugs.

Some of us just enjoy the different settings and time periods, the bugs have never affected me simply because i'm always 2-3 games behind, fully patched AC's are almost bugfree.

The MP can also be fun.

Yeah, why would I think it wouldn't happen??

Maybe the issues are some of the reasons people keep buying it

People do buy those crappy boring games.
I mean, it's not really ubisoft's fault. They spend a lot of money making those games, they invest a lot. But they invest in the things people want: Good graphics, tons of content, historical accuracy, long boring story, etc etc.
People just don't give a shit if the game is repetitive, boring, full of bugs, unfinished and unpolished.

To each their own.

Totally agree... the ACs I have bought were less than 10 US and years after release
