Couple of other comments:
- VGC (obviously) tracks NA - vrs "US" (NPD)
- there is also a difference in how some bundles are tracked. ioi can correct me on this, but (for instance) all GH bundles for the 360 are tracked with a single figure - where NPD tracks individual bundles as separate products. This can result in significant differences in software sales figures.

Would people stop saying (incorrectly) that NPD is US only. NPD tracks both but splits them in US and Canada and releases the numbers separately. We used to see Canada's numbers but not anymore. It doesn't mean they stopped tracking Canadian sales.

People also didn't stop comparing the NPD USA to VGC NA. So, the NPD is USA and VGC NA (actually Americas), until the Canadian numbers are in it. @dwayne: Where's your proof? Without evidence NPD could lie just as well. @outlawauron: It's to show that NPD doesn't track some major retailers. It's a whole different matter if you miss few random gamestores from here and there, than missing some of major retail chains.
