Console except for Pokemon on handheld.

Consoles. Handhelds have very few games that I think are better off on them, rather than consoles. I buy the handhelds because they still have quality games held ransom on them.
I like the wii u gamepad though, for when you just want to grind or pay something while doing something else. Allows for the best of both worlds. I hope the next console supports it, even if it doesn't really feature it.

If it wasn't for Pokemon, I wouldn't even buy Nintendo handhelds, so I prefer consoles.

I have always been a home console kind of guy.

Switch - Super Mario Maker 2 (2019)
3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)

Definitely consoles. Not even a question for me.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I haven't touched my 3D since... July, maybe. Of course, I haven't got a 3DS game since May, but it's the for the same reason. Home consoles versions of the games are better though; MK8 > MK7, same for Smash, and many others, and I like the home console excluaives more than the HH exclusives.

Except 3D mario. 3D Land > 3D World.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Handhelds > Consoles because of portability and being able to play where ever you want

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Handhelds. The 3DS is currently my most played platform (including non-Nintendo consoles as well), even four years after purchase. It really just struck all the right notes for me game-wise, and the portability factor is something I really appreciate nowadays.

I do still enjoy playing consoles, but I mostly prefer playing them when I have large gaps of free time, where I can sit on the couch and immerse myself for several hours. Now that I'm out of college, work full-time, and take graduate classes at night, I find I just don't really have the kind of time needed for long gaming sessions. With my 3DS, on the other hand, I can always squeeze in a battle or two in Fire Emblem or a few skits in Devil Survivor, and be able to quickly suspend the system when I have to do something else.

Im into Nintendo games. So im into whathever has them.

Nintendo home consoles, but there are a ton of gems from Nintendo's handheld IPs. merging home and handhelds would be nice. :)
