It will be as big as sonic boom was last year sales wise.

 Even if Amiibo festival flops, it will still out sell Sonic Boom by a couple hundred thousand. The brand alone will see to that.

Well sega said it sold 800k so i think animal crossing will do thta i would eb shocked if anything more than 800k is sold.

Those Boom numbers from Sega will be both Wii U and 3DS combined. I assumed you just meant the Wii U version which is prob 200k-250k.

I know this game isnt of any interest to anybody on this forum, myself included, but my 6 year old daughter would lap this kind of thing up. Given its target audience, a decent marketing effort and the holiday season, do you think this game could do well. The spin off Happy home designer has done great in Japan, and Animal Crossing is now an A tier Nintendo franchise which is extremely popular. I personally think that if Nintendo push the game and the Amiibo, we could be looking at a surprise hit.

The real question is: Will you buy it for her?

and

When you showed/Show her the trailer will/did she become excited?

Mind you, I still think that most people playing this game will be adults.

Send a Friend Request On PSN :P

Japan. Probably.
Everywhere else, no.

I meant both so around 800k for the animal crossing game.

as far as we know this game has:
-text;
-RNG;

we simply don't know if there is any kind of gameplay or the game is really focused on letting the game dice and let the game go ahead. if this is the case it won't sell well, even if it's AC...

I would buy it for her if she asked for it, and even though its not my thing I would play it with her.

When we watched the digital event together she instantly recognized the characters and the branding (she has Animal crossing DS). She also liked the fact it was board game based.

I truely hope not tbh.

If the game offers a lot of options and is original, or the concept is beatiful (something that happens in Splatoon), it could be a hit, it could sell more than 1,50 million.

But taking into account the last E3 conference very few people seem to be convinced.

What kind of game is it. Just AC with Amiibos?
