Either way, nothing like this is happening. The NX is getting a smaller, screened controller that's shaped like the pro controller. So an updated gamepad. No wavebird and no pro controller.

You seem to be in the minority here...

While I don't think it was the worst controller I do agree going back to that design is dumb.

Maybe if the C-stick was an actual analog but there is no design advantage outside of playing Smash that it has over their current pro controller line. The massive A button works for some games but it also screws up others genres like fighting games.

A new controller would be better.

A moderately updated redesigned version would be killer.

I honestly want to have it return, just use the same D-pad the GamePad/Pro Controller have, and make the analog triggers better.

I actually have a joke controller with pissing people off in mind, I want to have anyone use it.

All I care about is that the left analog stick is higher than the Dualshock's. I can't stand the placement of those on the Playstation controllers.

The GameCube controller is only great for Nintendo games.

Try playing a modern Call of Duty, Uncharted or Halo on that thing.
