Back in June, the Steam community asked for a release of the Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection for Steam:

Then, on September 1st, Konami shared Metal Gear Solid Legacy on Steam, not what you'd think:

It is just a stupid 24 seconds video that doesn't show anything about the story of Metal Gear.

It seems that indeed it was Konami trolling PC gamers because there is a "Pre-release review" quoting the fan petition:

Who would port the games? One of their Pachinko manufacturers?

Konami hasn't been great since the 16bit era anyway...

Anytime port beggars get trolled is funny to me.

I still think it would be great if the rest of the Metal Gear games (including the first MGS games that were released on PC) were out on Steam, though.

Can't agree with that with MGS, Silent Hill 2 and Zone of the Enders. I guess they have seen more productive years though.

Lords of Shadow 1 was pretty amazing

It was a bad God Of War and SOTC rip-off imo...

Yeah, they have had some gold here and there, but during the 8 and 16bit era they were just pumping out great game after great game.
