Gamexplain tried recreating the first course from Super Mario 64, Bob-omb Battlefield, in Super Mario Maker. The result? One of the most amazing remakes in gaming history. It's by no means perfect, skeptics might be able to nitpick on a few of the smaller details, but is still impressive nonetheless. I will include both the original version and the remake. You will need to squint real hard in order to notice any difference.

Andre from GX is soooooo good at making levels, no wonder he could do this too. I believe his shooting level is in 3rd place atm after SkullKid's autoplay level and another one

Yeah, this was a pretty good recreation, especially since they had to go 3D to 2D.
