People are already doing that. And it would be great if it were that easy. Every day hundreds of such people drown on overcrowded boats, suffocate in trucks or trains, get killed by other less honest individuals that steal their money.

Hundreds of thousands of such people have reached Europe this year alone, but an equal number has died in the process.

Croatia is not directly on their route, so we get proportionally few of these people, but we are still getting ready to help them when and if they come over, with food, water, supplies, shelter.

People will call me a socialist (the greatest evil word ever created apparently) but I believe it is the responsibility of all wealthy nations to take care of less fortunate nations and people. I don't buy into the idea of evolutionary adherence. Yes, it may BE in my genes to procreate with every young hot female I meet, but I now, thanks to years of evolution, have the ability to reason and thus, abstain from doing that. I think the same thing should apply for the wealthy taking care of those who simply will never BE wealthy because they were born with lesser IQ levels or other disabilities/unfortunate circumstances that will always, ALWAYS prevent them from having the means, will and/or drive to take care of themselves.

Caplitalism is great for the evolutionary gods amoung us. For everyone else, it's a fucking disgrace.

Except a lot of those "wealthy" nations have their own issues to deal with and a sharp rise in population puts  a lot of stress on the economy and infrastructure.
