It has a snappy and convenient OS, fast installs...

games run well on it (no 70% 1080p justification)

the controller is great (the 3 consoles have good options, as far as controllers go, even if you have to buy the game pad pro for the wii u)

it just works as a gaming console, the features of the os are "just there" you don't need a tutorial to find your friends list!

etc.

not saying it's the best at everything, or that it has the most features, but it's certainly the best console available right now...

Sony deserves respect for clawing their way out the hole they dug themselves (7th gen) to arranging funerals for their competitors (8th gen).

nah. the wii u deserves all the crap its getting. nintendo came out with a half backed ps360 1.5 and tried to take the no. 1 spot by coming out first. too bad even with their stinky apus the ps4 and xone are way better machines than the u. 

then we have nintendo with their new nx or whatever that shyet  it is again with them saying that its not about the power and will most likely be another xbone/ps4  1.5 or maybe less ... i hope it crashes and burns too.

Your last sentence isn't true in the slightest. Just because you read a bunch a forum post saying that doesn't mean everybody thinks like that.

Like every post on forums such as this, it's an opinion. I just can't be bothered clarifying everything I type as such. I honestly believe that most gamers idea of a true generational leap has not been realised this gen, and will continue not to be due to the lack of horsepower in all three machines.

I think both the PS4 and the XBO are lacking respect. People, even on here, and around other gaming forums atill look at them as consoles. Both of them are far beyond what a traditional console offered. PS3 and 360 started the turn from gaming console to smart device on the TV, and PS4 and XBO have taken that full fledged.

PS4 and XBO have come to the point where they can replace your cable box, your PC, your Blu-ray player, and your gaming console. Both devices are well worth being under every TV sold whether people are into gaming or not.

I think as the idea of getting live tv from avenues other than cable or satellite becomes more accepted, we will see both devices sales and respect expand greatly. By the end of this generation having a PS4 or XBO hould be just as common place as having a PC or a Phone.



Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. PS4 doesn't deserve respect because it has no exclusives this Holiday. :p

But Honestly, I still need the Xbox One to win in NA my bet depends on it. lol!

No, not more than it already has. It's underpowered and got away with it because the other to big home consoles are underpowered too. Looking at sales it has too much respect and now needs to work to begin to live up to the hype.
