Nintendo certainly managed to make many beautiful Wii games! Just look at Kirby's Epic Yarn and its unique artstyle! That game will probably still look good ( or at least decent) in the following 5-10 years!

Not just getting Super Mario Galaxy 2 to run on Wii, but to get it to run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second. The Galaxy duo still look incredible today in my opinion, which is testament to those behind the art design and graphics on those games.

I prefer the first one. Those games were outstanding and that's what I was expecting to see on the Wii U.

I have to say I find Galaxy to be a much better game for various reasons I could name you - superior music, the sense of exploration that worn off a bit in the second installment, the story (which was kinda rushed in the second one) and others... -

But I do agree that both games are an achievement. The second one is NEARLY as good as the first.
