Damn, that's lower than expected.

Totally forgot about that turd. Didn't know it got a 33 though.

Too much focus on single player from these reviews. I want to know more about the online. Is the only thing I care about. I'm still going to download this when it comes on Steam, regardless.

The funny thing is that even the bad scores says that multiplayer is ok, it has variety, it works and there some fun to be found there, but is like single campaign was the main focus of the game, and is not really, I think if they focus more on the multiplayer the game would be at least above 50, wich is depressive too, but not this butchering lol.

Which is why Nintendo games score high, Final Fantasy XIII (one of the most hated games in the franchise) has an 83,  Metal Ger Solid has consistent high scores, Bayonetta 2 is tied for second best rated game of the 8th gen (tied for 3rd if MGSV holds),  Persona 3 has an 89 and Persona 4 a 90 and Persona 4 Golen a 93, Persona Q an 83, Shin Megami Tensei series scores well, Monster Hunter 4 has an 86, and Etrian Odyssey scores in the 80s pretty consistently.  Yeah, totally biased and conspiring against Japanese games :P

Or it could be that Itagaki got a big head and then screwed the pooch.

No it doesn't.  But on the flipside, it throws a wrench into your excuse to ignore all these reviewers as biased, unreliable liars who are somehow "out to get Japan."  Since that claim is demonstrably false then ignoring the reviews altogether is just plain ill advised.  

the score would be higher if Japanese review sites would be incldued and they should be rightfully included there if Metacrtic claims itself being credibale as a global meassure. 

But its also a fact that most of the franchsies you counted are well established, but look at newer japanese IPs they get trashed by Metacrtic.
