Come on Nintendo. Golden Sun/Xenoblade anime made by Madhouse or Ghibli. That would be huge!

I think they could do some good movies, if only animated movies from their more story-based games like Xenoblade or Fire Emblem. If the Tales and Persona series can get TV shows and movies, why not them?
As long as they don't repeat their mistakes, I'm down.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Eh... Fair point. But that's animated.
I agree with most people here saying that Universal or Disney are the way to go with making the movies. They're animation juggernauts that rarely mess up (Cars). A few anime with lesser franchises like Animal Crossing and Kid Icarus would be great too. Animal Crossing had something like that before, and it was cute fun. An OVA even would be a step in the right direction. Oh god, I just realized the possibility of Fire Emblem anime. Was that 90's OVA any good, by the way?
It's odd knowing that it's Miyamoto that commented about making movies. Didn't he not want Galaxy 2 to have a deep story because Galaxy 1 had too much of a story?
There was that Mario animation movie coming from Sony. Though it was just a rumour.
