On topic, I'm in Hengsha.  Dealt with Diamond Chan

But what kind of dealing? The "teaching how to fly" or the "drugs are good for you"?

I was very nice to him and gave him some party favors to play with.

I was doing Alice's Pods last night.  I took down the top 2 floors then I went down and got really lucky taking down the ogres at the bottom, all in a row.  It was nice and unexpected.  Then I went down to the showers, got spotted trying to hack the turrent--I wanted to see if it was possible undetected--and decided to reload.  Turns out that I'd forgotten to save after I took down the ogres, so now I have to redo that part.  Oh, well.

I gave Windmill a machine pistol.

Just entered Tai Yong Medical and I have 9 praxis points to spend. Hmm.

Last time I played, I tore apart the Hive and took everyone down. I'm trying to do things professionally this time but jeez, that was a lot of fun before.

All the inventory space would be a nice start.

The ability to eat electricity and suffer no damage will be greatly appreciated at Yedorova, as well.

I forgot about EMP immunity since I haven't needed it yet.  I need to get that and the visual protection upgrade.  I have all inventory space.  I have all the hacking I need except the robot skill; might as well grab that one, too.  I remember TYM having a lot of robots.

Well, first update then! I've just beaten the manufactury plant, so far, so good. I'd focus on upgrading the cranium aumentantions (like social enhancer and hacking capture) because I intend to beat the game without any kills. So, cranium aumentations to unlock some useful doors and persuade some foes, and some useful stealth skills in the future.  I'm enjoying this version more than the PC one, just because of the Gamepad, the item management is faster and I find useful having the radar in the Gamepad. It's not a big deal, but it's something. It's indeed a good port. Okey, I will enter now in the spoilers part:

Some things I've discovered on this first playthrough:

1) If you lose a lot of time before going into the aeroplane and heading into the manufactury, the hostages are killed. I loled at this because I explore a lot the Sarif HQ (there's nothing to do, actually xDDD) and even before I started the mission, the hostages were all already murdered XDDD. So I couldn't beat that side quest, but, hey, it's my fault.

2) But, at least, I saved the woman, last time I've played the game I couldn't convinced Sanders to leave her alone and she died.

3) This time I'm playing it slowly, and I'm trying to read whatever I could find. And, yes, there are some interesting readings out there about the Deus Ex world. There are a lot of articles about augmentations, politics, morality... It's a rich world, and I appreciate it more this time

Well, I will focus on the side quests, because I remember there are some interesting ones, and I wil update one more time once I beat the first boss. This is my first time playing the Director's Cut version, so I can't wait to see how they changed the boss battles! :)

They're a lot better. Still not perfect, but they give you a lot more options... you can actually hide! Just be sure to scope the area during the fight.

Update 2 (lots of spoilers if this is your first playthrough):

- Confronted Sarif before heading to Hengsha and convinced him to give up the goods (CASIE mod is really becomming useful now)

Hengsha side quests:

- Did the side quests for rescuing Ning and "the fall" mission. I actually sent him flying first, then reloaded to plant the drugs as I'm going for a "kill no one" playthrough.

- Talked my way into getting the cash in the Bar Tab quest

- Convinced Lee to spill the beans in Malik's quest

Mainline quests:

- Snuck into the Penthouse via the vent on the right of the building, although I also used it to get to the roof and take out everyone there too

- Found the Hive card in the Huang hotel. Convinced Tong to let me into the basement and give up the hacker location. I already yoinked the TYM access card from the Huang hotel. When shit hit the fan I gave Van Bruggen a shotgun before escaping.

- The Pangu/TYM section is actually fairly linear, lots of vents and stuff to hack though. I've got Invisibility at max so I used that to get past the laser sections.

- After confronting Zhao, I actually managed to take out all the guards with a single gas grenade. First time I manged to take the whole lot out in one go!

- In Montreal, knowing the guards arrive after entering room 404 I tried to cheat and arranged the vending machines and photocopiers to help me stealth my way down only to find the only way to progress was to kill someone by bashing the wall. As I wanted to keep my kill no one playthrough going I headed back up only to find the arrangement of vending machines was now hindering my way down! Bah!

- To get to the sub-basement I again used the vending machines to block the guards path whilst waiting for the funicular. This time it worked!

- Facing up against Fedorova (DC edition), I used the revolver with explosive mod to start, invisibility whilst hacking the door to open up the upper level, released gas when up there combined with the Typhoon to finish her off.

Anyway, back in Detroit again now. Will next update when I get up to The Missing Link section.

That's nice! I struggled a lot the first time I beat the game with the bosses because I was not specialized in anything related to weapons and strengh so... Also, I wanna play the Missing Link DLC, I haven't got the oportunity to play it yet :)

I defeated the first boss in one try. I used a combination of hid ing behind the pillars, throwing concussion grenades then mines and shooting him a few times. Rinse and repeat til he was dead. I've beaten the game a few times so I guess that made the fight a lot easier. Talked to Sarif after. He reminds me of any successful politician. It's damn difficult to get the truth out of him but I did.

I'm headed to china. Ugh. This place is a damn maze to me.

So I'm back in Detroit.  Montreal was fun.

I beat the second boss in one attempt with only light damage.  I'd drop an EMP mine, back up, then open fire on her with the revolver when she ran into it.  She wasn't very bright.

By the way, why does Jensen let all these potentially evil women run their hands all over him?  I know he couldn't do much about Eliza but he even let Zhao get behind him while she was doing her "I'm just a powerless woman who happens to be the ruthless CEO of a massive biotechnology corporation" routine.  I mean, that was pretty dumb.

And why can't I do a double take down if one guy is sitting?  Do they plan that?  The 'one guy sitting' defense?  "Jensen is skulking around, so if you cluster together, make sure one of you is sitting!"

I feel like I have too much money and exp.  Hacking is kind of overpowered in that regard.  I have 40k, 80 Nuke programs, and pretty much all the augments I care about.  I guess I can pick up Typhoon for the third boss.

I really, really wanted to kill Kahn.  I don't know why I did not.  It's not like I haven't killed a few enemy soldiers here and there, though it's been like 95% non-lethal.  Still, they were all in the heat of battle, like when I reprogramed that turrent and moved it infront of the door--heh, that was fun.  I really should have killed everyone in the Pods after what they did.  That was evil.
