The only Nintendo system that has broken for me was the hinge break on my DS Lite.

Otherwise, I would have to say the Wii U is a fine system. It's made very well.
My Wii also still works.
My Gamecube doesn't because we got rid of it due to my sister spilling orange juice on it. (she used it like a coaster when playing games....)
3DS Works.
Gameboy Advance SP still works.

I'd have to say overall, the quality of Nintendo's hardware is consistently sturdy.

None of my home consoles broke (GameCube, Wii, Wii U) so I think it's perfectly fine

My DS lite broke, but that is because I played that system to pieces and I still do :p

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Wii U is good for me, maybe due to the fact that I haven't played like when I was a kid. My Famicom (NES) I need to replace my game controllers since it is worn out and not functioning properly on its 3rd year i think.

None has ever broken down on me, the Nintendium is always strong.

The wii u has been the worst this far (on par with ds lite and 3ds if we include handheld). That's not too bad given Nintendo's track record (my snes still works well), but the gamepad is the first thing I had to send back to Nintendo for repair.

My first Wii had a disc drive failure, that's the only problem I ever had with a Nintendo system.
I accidentally left the WiiU out in the rain and it still works. Thanks to the tiny Gamepad range it gets dragged all over the place. And I'm surprised the gamepad still works, it has been dropped so many times.

I never had any problem with any Nintendo system.

Gameboy is definitely the sturdiest, dropped that a lot of times and it still works. NES still works to but i don't think you can drop it to often. And have seen the screenhinges from a DS broken off so Gameboy beats them all.

My Wii U freezes a lot, it's a very persistent issue. Just right now I was playing Splinter Cell Blacklist when the game froze, but surprisingly the console didn't. So I went to the Wii U menu and finally the console stopped working.

It has nothing to do with sturdiness, I know, but a problem had to be mentioned

Before this console, I didn't have many problems with Nintendo systems aside from that DS that broke.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Good. Wii U along with all my Nintendo products still work flawlessly. My N64 even went through an apartment flood, and when it dried it still works great.

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
