Someone can like one without liking the other. Japanese games in general don't have a anime look to 'em. Proof? Last time I checked, Nintendo is a Japanese company that makes games.

I am no longer into either, because they are repetitive, predictable, unoriginal, cheesy, always use the same archetypes and only appeal to teenagers with the exception of BB,MGS and RE.Basically I have outgrown Japanese style of gaming like most people I know, but I will watch Attack On Titan in the future and will get back to reading Berserk.

Not enough guns in Japanese games for some people

The simple answer is: because they aren't actually the same thing.

That a wrap?

More like not enough quality gameplay or game mechanics since most Japanese games still feel like they belong on PS2,which is one of the problems I have.I will get P5,but the game is not the leap it should be when compared to other games.

Just saying "Japanese games" is too broad. There are many genres of Japanese games.

Why do people love video games but not books?
