I dont know where to begin but its brilliant. If you havent played it yet, buy it now and try it. At first the controls might seem odd and weird to get around with but trust me, after a while it feels very natural, the first chapters i was a bit sceptical but that quickly vanished and turned into pure love for this game. I think one of its strong points is its personality and characters. Wich have the best dialogue interactions ever in a video game. Not like a single annoying character imo and the game has some great humor and alot of fun jokes. You may think it breaks the fourth wall alot but the whole game knows its a game and makes even fun or points at different Nintendo franchises. Also a big seeling point in a video game for me is its soundtrack. And god almighty it has one of the most amazing soundtracks i ever heard. The game has also an awsome story and has some excellent sub-stories, one perticular story where another unexpected foe comes in , and its PURE AWSOME. Im not gonna spoil it so you will see when you play it. The graphics is never a selling point for me in a video game, but its really good graphics for a 3DS game, REALLY GOOD. lol i hope you read everything because i just wanna explain how awsome this game is xD

Just played it for the first time a month ago. Yes, it is indeed a much better game than I thought it would be, and I found the 3d to be quite stunning in the fast paced action.

You needed long to play it. But good choice, it is a great game.

After defeating Medusa I thought to myself: Fun game, but a bit short. But I can replay the levels for more hearts and stuff. And then... it isn't the end!

Also: Pyros feels danger... and now Pyros sees it.

It's great and all... But there's a huge conflict between narrative and gameplay. Individually, they're both nice, but mixed together... They get me distracted one from another and I can't enjoy that. I should finish it before next week (haven't played with my 3DS in a long time), but I don't like it very much because of that.

The gameplay get's hard or fun, I miss keypoints in conversations/stories/some talks; the dialogue gets very interesting, I start to play very badly. Don't know if that's just me.

I noticed it, it can get distracting with the dialogues you dont want to miss out on anything, but to me it was never a big case, i always only played around on 4.0 difficulty wich was really good for me, 

I bought it right after launch.

I´m not playing it anymore (only occasionally during anime or videogame conventions/meetings), but, yeah, Kid Icarus Uprising is such a damn good game.

Soundtrack is excellent, characters are fun and full of personality, controls may feel a bit strange, but I really didn´t have any problems with them, since I have hands with long fingers and no problem holding the 3ds with one hand and the stylus with the other.
For some people it may work better with the New 3DS and its analog button.

Multiplayer is too frantic but also very, very fun.

That´s one of those games where it´s clear to see how much love the development team have put on it. So much powers and weapons to unlock, so many dialogues and interaction among characters, so many diverse levels and backgrounds.
