I think people are exaggerating. Yes, I have issues with the article, especially given that it's not designated as an editorial, but not everything is a conspiracy. It could simply be that the writer could do with a bit more experience or research into content intended for consumers. Unless we have evidence that the author is indeed some kind of shill, I think constructive criticism regarding the problems inherent in this piece is probably more useful than name-calling and outrage.
