Forums - Nintendo - Nobody asked for this!!!!!

Apart fro Metroid, all of those franchises were brand new, so of course no one asked for them. The games at e3 are spinoffs people haven't asked for of already established franchises.

It doesn't matter if they are a spinoff or new series, the point is nobody asked for a game like those. Nobody asked for a 4 player, squad based space marine game just like nobody asked for a strategy game featuring loyal plant people who collect ship parts. Nobody asked for games with either if these play styles, people are just mad because Metroid is in the title.

The only reason to be mad about a game like Federation Force is if u honestly think Next Level Games working on it somehow is preventing Retro Studios from making a new Prime or SPD from making a new 2D Metroid.

If those games don't make the majority of nintendo fans excited or happy then what is the point of those games? People have every right to be upset when they wanted a new zelda or metroid but got offshoots instead.

It's weird. The feeling I got this past E3 with Nintendo was that people were EXPECTING an Animal Crossing Wii U game and were expecting a new Metroid game. When before the event nothing had given us that idea. And when people didn't get EXACTLY what they wanted, they promptly complained.

What do you think the internet is for, if you can't complain?

Nintendo fans aren't a single collective entity that share a common opinion, Mario Party is a series that typically gets hate from "hardcore" forum goers yet the series has sold close to 40 million so their is obviously people who enjoy Nintendo games like this despite popular opinion on forums. Wii Party U has sold over 1.5 million with Mario Party 10 approaching 1 million so there is an audience for party games on Wii U meaning Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival has a sizeable potential audience.

As for wanting a new Zelda or Metroid, a new Zelda is coming and Next Level Games working on a Metroid spinoff is not preventing Retro or SPD from making brand new entries in the Prime or 2D series so that complaint is invalid.

I want people to continue complaining. A complacent Nintendo is not a good one.

It's how far into the wii u lifecycle and there's none of the main games that nintendo is known for released as of yet. Nintendo should provide the games it's fans bought a wii u for.

Actually, the Metroid complaints are valid. Nintendo themselves decided a standard game wasn't the way they wanted to go. All those leaked metroid game deisgns that were vetoed a few years ago. But the fans wanted that. So, Nintendo did prevent it. And since other people confirmed no other type of Metroid is near. Valid compaint. Nintendo could of just had two games going on at the same time. Fed Force. And something people wanted.

People complained about Animal Crossing happy home designer, but last weeks Japanese software numbers proved Nintendo were right.
