So it's been close to 2 months since E3 and I still see people complain about some of new games Nintendo showed like Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, etc. A common complaint is, "nobody asked for these games".

To me this is very dumb, how many people were asking for a 1st person Metroid game before Prime? How many people asked for an RTS featuring 1 inch tall plant people before Pikmin? How many people were asking for a life simulator with goofy humanoid animals before Animal Crossing? How many people asked for a game about squid kids coloring maps before Splatoon? How many people were asking for a Mario spinoff where everything is made out of paper before Paper Mario? There are a ton of other examples.

Can we please wait for these games to release or at least until we see more from them before bitching about them?

Apart fro Metroid, all of those franchises were brand new, so of course no one asked for them. The games at e3 are spinoffs people haven't asked for of already established franchises.

Basically. Also people asked for a Metroid game and they got a real mainline Metroid game. We can't compare Prime to Federation Force...

Edit: OP must be about 3DWorld and DKC Tropical Freeze to be accurate in regards of the title.

To be fair, titling Federation Force as Metroid and making the only Animal Crossing the Wii U is likely to get some bare bones looking Mario Party ripoff makes complaining pretty justifiable. At least Paper Jam looks like it could be pretty good. It would be nice to have a decent game that involves Paper Mario after the lackluster Wii game and the abysmal 3DS title.
