the writing was one of the most offensive things to me.  There isn't a single line that's memorable for the right reasons.  They're all either horribly cliche and dull or eye rollingly bad.  Then of course there's the pacing you mentioned.  Whose idea was it to have little tests for all of them and a couple snippets of Thing footage then a 2 minute final battle lol.  I don't know if I just watched a superhero movie or what but there wasn't much going on for most of the movie to call it that.  

At least this puts into perspective what a TRULY terrible film is so people can stop claiming MCU films that don't fit exactly what they wanted are bad or that Superman snapping Zod's neck destroys a film.  THIS is what people should reserve their rage for.  We have had a pretty string recently so people got picky but this should put things back into perspective.

Please guys, to yourselves a favour. If you are in need of a summer movie to watch, watch Mission Impossible instead, as that was just super great (my favourite movie of the year thus far).

I said amazing was an overstatement but a much more interesting movie deffintly.

Can't say I'm surprised it look pretty bad from the trailers I had seen.

I understand, its all good although Static Shock would be way more awesome lol. Certainly my favorite African American superhereo.

Yeah and I loved Static Shock as a kid, lol.
I really agree with what Stan Lee recently said. Rather than changing already famous characters to appeal to minorities, how about we use characters that were originally created as such? >.>

And here i was thinking Ant-Man was going to be the superhero flop of the year. I do feel bad for Miles Teller though. He is a very promising actor and i hope this doesn't damage his career.

Just watched the movie and it's doesn't looks fantastic for me!
