and well the catholic church is best at this. they fought some realy devastating wars against the reformation. luther in germany and calvin in lets call it france,( even if it was HRE but ruled by spain at that time) because they translated the bible into german or french.

Also, those who actually know the teachings will know that the Muslim world call the likes of ISIS Khawarij based on a splinter group that existed in early Islam. They weren't only responsible for causing similar problems as they are now, but they tried to kill and takeover Islam right then from the early caliphate. The prophet of Islam said these people were so dangerous they should be taken out immediately.

If the founding prophet of Islam called them non Muslim, said they destructive and dangerous, it makes little to no sense when people who barely know how what Islam is to argue otherwise.

you are saying those arent muslims.  they say the same about alot of moderate muslims... and im pretty sure ISIS is closer to the koran and the teachings than most moderate muslims.  is beeing pro gay/women/minority rights more islamic or contra? if pro, why isnt gay marriage allowed in any muslim country? and i never heard about a princess from an arabic country beeing next to the throne...

Before a lot of people saying bad things about ISIS lets not forget how much fault the US and Nato have in this conflict.
ISIS wouldnt have happened if the west supported Assad from the beginning and sanctioned saudi arabia. The US just recently started also bombing Assad troops if they attacking the western syrian sponsored rebels who are eligitime forces. The US keeps derailing this conflict by supporting the rebels despite that Assad is the legtime government of Syria and second he has more power still than all the other alternatives the US wants.

And lets not forget Iraq under Saddam was another factor holding back the rise of Isis and other extrme islamism.

We (western governments and especially the US) supported dictators for decades. Back in the cold war the Soviets did the same.
Might actually have been better if they hadn't started supporting regimes, then 'freedom fighters'* etc.
