Sea of thieves, Gears 4, Rare Replay, Recore and Halo Wars 2.

But let's be careful about their Phantom Dust or Quantum Break-like announcements....
The true announcements were Sea of thieves, Gears 4, and Rare replay. The 20 seconds CGI trailers for Recore and Halo Wars 2 are not really trustworthy IMO, we don't even know if Recore is something more than a indie type of game (it's supposed to release in less than a year and is in full production since E3...).

Sea of thieves and Halo Wars 2 are PC games btw, so if we count the Xbox exclusives announcements, it's 3 games this year (Gear, Rare Replay and Recore). The PS4 has 2 atm : Horizon and Dreams (full exclusive, announced during Sony's conference, so not counting Nier 2 to be fair).

Things like Gears 4 and Forza 6 is like counting a CoD or Assassins Creed or Uncharted 4 as a new announcement. All games we knew existed and didn't need announcing. 

Recore is an iffy one as nothing was really shown.

You're only basing this on your definition of significant though. Just because you don't consider games like Sea of Thieves, Halo Wars 2, etc significant doesn't mean they aren't new announcements.

ReCore, Sea of Thieves, Rare Replay, Halo Wars 2, etc are all games nobody had any idea about until they were announced so even if you don't count them as significant in your opinion they are still significant to other people and are still new announcements.

I believe sea and wars are Xbox exclusive as well, since they are released on the Xbox app in Windows 10.

Everyone new gears 4 was happening when they bought the IP last year and said Black Tusk studios were making a new game.

Announcing Gears 4 is like announcing Assassins Creed, or COD or GTA VI
