As much as I'm going to enjoy fallout 4 I know that I'll enjoy and be much immersed into tomb raider but fallout 4 will clearly outsell Tomb Raider easy and I'm talking about total sales once it releases on ps4 aswell.

All of the people saying "They will be" or "They should be" make me think of Yoda!

This. It's not like Tomb Raider is a small or niche title.

I think both these games will be great but out of the two I will be getting RoTR day one mainly because I haven't got the time to out into such a massive game along with the rest of the holiday titles, I will save Fallout 4 for the quieter times after the holiday period has passed and enjoy it instead of trying to rush through hundreds of hours game play asap.

I do think there will be quite a few who see it this way like myself but I still think Fallout 4 will outsell it but the sales for RoTR will still be healthy.

Big differences. Sunset Overdrive is a new IP and Bayonetta 2 is on the wrong console. We are talking about one of the most recongised franchises in gamings history. Gamers know Tomb Raider and the last Tomb Raider was up there with the best Uncharted games of the generation. This sequal will speak for itself. If TR was a new IP competing agasint SW Battle Front, Fallout 4, Halo 5 etc then i will easily agree, however TR isnt a new IP, its been around longer then most of those games and why would FPS games even compare to a 3rd person action adventure title? Completely difference gaming audiences. Sci-fi and FPS fans will buy SW-BF, FO4 and Halo 5 while those who love Uncharted like gameplay will buy TR. Its almost like gamers think FM6 wont sell because Gears of War is releasing close to it.

There is a finite amount of money people will spend and the fact of the matter is that there is a greater chance that if someone can only get one game they'll pick Fallout 4 over Tomb Raider. I'm pretty sure Crystal Dynamics would have prefered if Fallout 4 wasn't releasing on the same day as them, but it isn't. So obviously they're going to say they're not scared. I still think the game is going to sell well, but it's sales are definitely going to get cannibalized by Fallout 4 and the massive games releasing around it.
