Of course they haven't been working on it since '05. They barely managed to get TP done on time. They said so on numerous occasions. If they had to scramble to do that, how can they be making another game?

Instead of MKH, Nintendo should make a KH-esque game where you travel to Nintendo worlds and of course the main character is new.

 Sounds good to me...Super Smash Hearts.

I read somewhere that at the last E3 some game journalists where aloud to see a super short trailer for the next Legend of Zelda. And it featured a super realistic link running towards the screen and screaming his typical scream. Expected to see release late 2009.

I think it'll be announced at e3, but not released until next year around the holidays.

We pretty much already have that--it's called Subspace Emissary

 

Seeing as Reggie said they'll be pushing all their big franchises this E3, I'd say Zelda Wii will get announced by default.  Released holiday '09 or sometime during '10, since it's really the only franchise they seem to announce and hype far ahead of time. 

Regarding how it will be different for Wii: hmmm... what special blade-like thing does Link use that fans have been clamoring for good use of with the Wii-mote.

Zelda Wii won't be announced until E3 2009, released Fall 2009 at the earliest. Nintendo's taking their time, they've been working on it since before TP was released. The only Zelda we may see at this E3 is Retro Zelda.
