A lot of PS2 games at $15.99 at Costco. Last Christmas I was able to get Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy 12 there for $10 because of a $5 off sale.
I also recommend that you google for 2007 PS2 game awards or something similae. Maybe change the year out. IGN and similar sites gave out awards for the top games.
The PS2 is great- it costs around $50 used and most of the games are under $20.

You must play Shadow of the Colossus, and you should play Okami and Kingdom Hearts I and II. Well, you should at least look into them, :) . Socom is good if you like those kind of games.

So what does that make the 60gig? A god? It has the library of PS, Ps2, and Ps3.... along with other features... but thats cool. When you eventually buy one in 2015 you should pick up Resistance and Uncharted. Ps2 games = God of War 2, GTA series, FF12, Manhunt, Bully, shit there are so many.

I completely forgot about Shadow of the Colossus. It certainly is a must have.
If you have any inclination toward RPG's I highly suggest Persona 3: FES once they send it stateside.
looking at my old collection I'll just pick out some notables
Disgaea (hilarious)
Psychonauts (if you didn't play it already on another platform)
Transformers (no relation to the movie.....yeah it isn't great....but it's transformers....screw you guys)
and if you want a quirky plane game I suggest Skygunner, it was alot of fun.
edit: and if you can actually find a cheap "Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga" then buy it....and send it to me....could never find that thing.
