yeah but it could be also just an app in the next windows playing your old xbox games and new one digital like on steam. I only see a futue for xbox if MS sells it to anotehr company like SAMSUNG who have no ecosystem

No, an XBO-successor is not confirmed by that tweet. A successor is probable It's quite likely (Microsoft won't leave the living rooms), but not confirmed at all. Perhaps they go with a Windows-console next time.

Only fools and tools didn't think there would be a next Xbox... The real interrogation is what form factor it'll have. Will it be more like a steambox or a true stand-alone console or an hybrid...

But the existence of a next Gen is really a ni brainer... Whether the (very few) shareholders that don't like it want it or not.,. Having a foot in the living room is essential for the future and will only grow in necessity... Why else apple amazon, google would bother to compete in that space....
