It's either a hybrid or a home console. Doubt it is going to be a handheld. The handheld market is tanking for years now (hell, 3DS best year was its first, a pattern only usually seen on failed hardware) and even a Nintendo hardware would likely have Vita/Wii U sales nowadays.
The NX is a means by which Nintendo is generating buzz. People just can't shut up about it.
Hoping it's a fusion-type thing.
I'm still thinking it's going to be a fusion type of thing.
I think it's two phases. A hand held first and the console counterpart latter.
