Then they must have not read the update and the thread makers are offline so they have not been updated. Are you blaming people for not being informed about the update and that the threadmakers are offline? I stumbled upon the news update by chance when I was online.

I would hold people accountable whether or not they were mislead by the thread as discussion in it would have prompted them to look up the source articles (which contain corrections). You could say users are to blame for not reporting the OP for inaccuracy or the mods were slow to respond to reports. Myraid of things really.

Impossible for FFXV. It uses the Luminous Engine and it would take a lot of time to put it on NX. And honestly, the game doesn't fit Nintendo.

KH3 on the other side could, it uses the same engine as DQXI and it fit more Nintendo than FFXV.

What if they already were caught up in a prior discussion and missed that yellow link to the updated information? What if the mods or users were busy with something else on the internet or in real life?

Kingdom Hearts? Yes. That series belongs on Nintendo.

FF15? Maybe... the series started on Nintendo systems, so it would be nice to see it come back.

that's fine, by why mention the FFVII and FFVIII pc ports? during the ps1 era those games were also completely exclusives to that console, the pc ports were released at least a year later in each case.

my point was, literally all numbered FF games have been in playstation systems. only a few very old ones have been in nintendo systems (when there was no sony system to play them on) and nothing since FFVI. That's 4 generations of nintendo consoles with no numbered FF to show for. your list made it seem like it was more common for those games to be on nintendo hardware than sony.

We'll have to see how NX plays out.

If the NX is a success I can bet SE will release a port as long as the console can run them. They don't care if the franchise has legacy on the platform or not (Kingdom hearts on xbox).

Dragon Quest is bigger on Nintendo platforms than Final Fantasy and especially Kingdom Hearts. I doubt that we will see them on NX.
