King K. Rool, Isaac (Golden Sun) and Shovel Knight will most likely make it. Inklings are a possibility too if Sakurai really just wants the new characters to be fan service

Meh, I was never too big of a fan of King K Rool. I hope this trademark is for something else and that someone else will win the smash ballot.

He initially did not add Chrom becuase he would be another generic sword character next to Link, Marth and Ike, even though he was highly requested.
