Forums - Politics Discussion - What would make you leave your country forever?

I'm from the UK.

All it would take for me to leave would be for me to get a visa for a country I'd rather live in...

You are aware that you can live and work in any country in the EU, no visa or work permit required, right?

Or do you like none of them?

Our grandparents were only recently massacred. Most people in my town would prefer dying there than moving to another place.

I don't think I'd want to move anywhere else regardless though, because most places I'd rather go to, I'd have neighbors leaving trash on the lawn cuz of my name

:O, where do you wanna live? Russia?!

If you live some where Nazi support can be measured in a poll you live some where with a lot of nazis. In answer to your question if Trump becomes president I am out of here.

Not really, I live in a place where people are not afraid to state their political leanings. Freedom of speech and whatnot. In fact, 1-2% is relatively small, I hear in Scandinavia right-wing extremists get like 5% after the Muslim influx.

You've made several erroneous statements and/or assumptions in order to find this funny:

1 - That it would only cost "10 extra bucks" (per what? Year? Month? Week? Hour?)

2 - That without socialised healthcare, there is no healthcare.

3 - That without socialised healthcare, more people would die.

4 - That without socialised healthcare, I would not have healthcare.

5 - That the basis of my position is to save money.

Socialised healthcare does work a lot better then private healthcare though

On the general and common stuff, yeah but with quality healthcare it doesn't. Alot of people have to go to states to get operations because their country either doesn't do the operation or it locked behind a long waiting line or there just better doctors in states.

Just being the way it is. Brazil is so fucked up, and I don't think it will ever be different. I only don't go to us or Europe to work because I can say I'm a privileged person here and for the position I am now it's better to wait a little longer. And before someome come here saying that came here and found it great I'll just ask : Have you come to some touristic city and just stayed at the touristics neighborhood? Have you stayed in a hotel or nice hostel ? Did you use the public transportation or just cabs ?

Really, only living here for a long time to realize how crazy this country is, and what is the worst is you getting robbed at the bust station and people saying " oh, its normal", and than going to a police station to report it and the cop telling you they can't do nothing.

If you are a rich person that can afford living in security bubble it may be good, though.

Proof or isn't true.

It's a common myth among Americans. The amount of people who go to the States for healthcrae reasons is very, very small. Usually extremely rich people or to receive experimental treatment.

The US healthcare is ranked 37th in the world in terms of overall quality despite being BY FAR the most expensive.

I'm an Australian and Tony Abbott winning another term would do it for me. The man is like a wrecking ball to all facets of the nation. Labor wouldn't be much better really, but they're not as damaging as he is.
