Now that it has come to light that Rise of the Tomb Raider is indeed coming to both PC and PS4, are there people here who decided to buy the new Tomb Raider for Xbone, when there was no official confirmation on the release to other platforms, that now with this new announcements have decided to wait for the release on PC or PS4? Or are you still getting it for Xbone?

Or are you getting it for Xbox360?

I'm getting it for Xbox 360, simply because I don't own a Xbone or PS4 and I don't plan to buy one in the near future.

Shit, I forgot the 360 version.

My plan has always been to get it on PC, but if i had been planning to get the X1 version i expect i still would be. In all likeliness the PS4 version will be in some way superior (not necessarily because of the hardware, but because it's releasing a year later), but i doubt it'll be better to a large enough degree for me to justify that kind of wait for a game i'm looking forward to.

A few months for the benefits of a PC version is one thing, but a year for a potentially better console version is too much for me here.

Might get it on PC. Don't plan on buying Tomb Raider at launch for Xbone, so I don't mind getting the PC version instead.

Disgaea 5, Rock Band 4, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Super Mario Maker, Metal Gear, Destiny, Forza, Tales of Zestiria, Dragon Quest Heroes, Halo 5, Fallout 4, Star Wars, Tearway Unfolded, and Guitar Heros.... Tomb Raider wasn't even on my radar.

Yeah i think the x360 version is really going to take some momentum away from the XBone version.

Yeah I think that too. It's strange they are still supporting the 360, can only assume the sales were ok in comparison to next gen (though I dont think they would release a ps3 version in a year time though right).

Personally I will get it on PS4 but it all depends on price/content and what else is around it at the end of 2016. If we find there are 3 or 4 big games coming out, then they would take priority. For example if Horizon, Mass Effect a new Rockstar game etc. I actually think waiting a couple of weeks, the price will drop on this anyway.

Gaming is all about excitement and a year wait, will probably drain me of that excitement... so when it comes out, I'll probably be like, yeah ok it's out and wont be in any rush.
